DOD E-Mall Information

Lifesaving Systems Corp. is a registered vendor with the Defense Logistics Agency's DOD EMall internet based procurement system.  The DOD EMall systems allows US Military, Department of Homeland Security (USCG) and other US Federal Government buyers to purchase commercially available items on-line using a Government Purchase Card.


Most items manufactured or distributed by LSC have been cataloged with the DOD Emall system and are available for purchase on-line.  Users must first register to use the DOD EMall system.  To register and/or begin using the EMall procurement system please follow the link provided below:

IMPORTANT NOTICE

The DOD EMall system is hosted and managed by the Defense Logistics Agency.  Use and terms of the DOD EMall system are governed by that office.  Please note that the EMall is restricted to US Military and US Federal Government buyers only.  All other customers (civilian, corporate, foreign, etc.) should contact LSC directly for product inquiry and purchase.

Quick Tips on Navigating & Using DOD EMall

After logging onto the system, you should default to the base shopping screen.  If not in the shopping screen select "SHOP" from the left-hand menu.

Within the shopping screen you may use the search form to locate an item by many methods including:  Manufacturer Name, Manufacturer Part Number, NSN, Product Name etc...  To search by LSC Part Number enter the LSC number in the field titled "Catalog Number/CLIN".  Searches made at this level may result in a lengthy search returning all products with similar part numbers/names from office supplies to rescue equipment. 

In order to perform a more effective and less time consuming search it is recommended that the following procedure be used.

  1. Select "Commercial Catalogs" from either the top menu or under the Category Browser listing.

  2. Next select "Suppliers" from the Category Browser and then select "Lifesaving Systems" from the list of suppliers.  You may now use the search form to locate the desired equipment.  The search will return LSC items only.

  3. If you know the LSC Part Number, enter the part number in the "Catalog Number/CLIN" field for quick search.

  4. For items with multiple options (size, color, markings, etc) you will have to read each product name to determine the nature of the item.  Currently the EMall does not have an option menu for sizes, color etc., and each size/color combination is listed as a separate line item in the electronic catalog.
