Pro Lite Vest, Manual
Lightweight and extremely comfortable to wear. The #481 is
inflated by a sharp pull on the beaded CO2 inflator
lanyard. The vest can also be inflated orally and provides
the SOLAS standard 35 lbs. of buoyancy. Thirty-five pounds
is more than 1.5 times the buoyancy of a Type I PFD (US Offshore
Device) and more than twice that of a Type III PFD (Flotation
Aid). The Pro-Lite Vest inflatable cell is constructed of
210 denier polyurethane-coated nylon for rugged durability and
requires minimum maintenance. When inflated, the orange cell
exposes SOLAS grade retroreflective panels and attached whistle.
The inflatable cell is protected with a heavy duty nylon cover.
Utilizes a 33 gram CO2
cylinder (#484), included.
